Within 2 years of its opening, Meet Meat Uccle was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor. And, in 2017, a Certificate of Excellence was again awarded to Meet Meat Schuman. Obviously we are proud of this achievement and we are also very thankful for your vote of confidence.
TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site. They founded the Certificate of Excellence in 2010. To quote them: “the Certificate of Excellence honours hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service.” They determine Certificate of Excellence recipients by using a variety of user-generated content: review ratings, overall rating and quantity and recency of reviews. To get this Certificate of Excellence, we had to maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five and to have a minimum number of reviews and to have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least twelve months.
Meet Meat Schuman opened almost 10 years ago. It was very rapidly recognised as an affordable quality steakhouse. It was not the first steakhouse in Brussels but we concentrated on quality meat and prime service. Back in 2010, social media was not as ubiquitous as it is today but in 2013 TripAdvisor rewarded us for the first time its COE. Since then, year after year our consistency was rewarded. In the beginning of 2015, we opened our restaurant in Uccle. Despite the short distance between the 2 restaurants, we had to convince a completely different audience.
We are obviously delighted by the recognition and we would like to take the opportunity to thank all our past guests who took the time to complete a review on the TripAdvisor site.
Every day, we strive to give you, our customer, the best experience by providing good food, good wine and good service. Just looking at the smile of the people when they leave our restaurants, we think that overall we have achieved this goal. We are also comforted in that belief by the numerous compliments we get from our guests. Despite all our efforts sometimes, we don’t perform.
